Native Dallasite Debby Dudley graduated in 1977 with honors from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Journalism, working as a public relations executive, event planner and writer for over 12 years in the Dallas area.  In addition, Ms. Dudley’s avid interest in health and fitness resulted in her avocation as a certified aerobics instructor and marathon runner.

Her lifelong interest in counseling came to fruition in 1989 by deciding to pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Ms. Dudley graduated in 1991 from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio specializing in marriage and family therapy.

Ms. Dudley views mental health holistically, incorporating the roles of mind, body and spirit as key components to healthy living.  She encourages clients, through education, to consider therapy as part of a preventative wellness program for the mind throughout their lifetime as reflected in her slogan, “Learn to Live Well.”

Ms. Dudley has also received training in Collaborative Law, a solution-focused alternative to divorce resolution that utilizes mental health professionals in a team setting.

Ms. Dudley is a member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists (AAMFT), the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (TAMFT) and the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas as a Mental Health Allied Professional.
